Economic Re_something....
I'm afraid I don't share the rosy news about the economy. Banks giving back bailout money is just banks trying to get the government out of their hair.
Wall Street is still filled with crooks. Main Street is still hurting. And it's not going to get better anytime soon.

What Obama should say about Iran
Nothing or little if anything.
We should not add fuel to any fire. Or stoke the current power structure. The Iranian people are doing a fine job by themselves provoking their government.
Sometimes not meddling in others business is the right course of action.

A.I.G. still M.I.A
Today, AIG folks said they'd need 3-5 years to right themselves and repay the American taxpayers.
Why not use that time to sell the company off in bits and pieces and close down. I wouldn't be sad about that.

Real World wake up call
While the auto workers are being told to give concessions in order to help the car industry survive, it's Wall Street execs that need to wake up and give in. Especially those AIG folks. WTF?
You're company lost billions last year - no one in this industry deserves extra cash. Sorry.

Financial Conventional Wisdom
Who should you trust these days when it comes to your financial situation?
It's pretty clear the experts don't know what they're talking about. Including the news media. Otherwise, they'd never have gotten us into this mess. And they'd be more rational in solutions on how to get us out of this crisis they had a major part in creating.
Conventional wisdom these days: Trust your gut. It's bound to be as right or wrong as the supposed experts are.
